Wedding Planner

Hi folks,If you are thinking that I would be starting a side business of planning your wedding,you are getting me totally wrong.................I do not intend to plan peoples' wedding nor am I doing it for myself...............I aint setting up a match-maker shop or an online portal either............I am just giving you insights from the life of a girl who has reached the (so called) marriagable age!!!!!!!!!Hey , dont close the page.......u might find something that would help you figure out that howlucky you are if you are not a girl or how trapped you are if you happen to be the one and only"FEMALE".

My girl is 24 , ohh my goodness ! cries the mother....., she wails in agony for the day her daughter got a job and moved to another city.Father--- Only if our daughter was here, could we have got her married.......our tensions would have vanished!Now that she is far far away................wonder when can we see our son-in-law,will my daughter ever marry...or will she remember to marry when shes too old to get any guy.

Dilemma surmounts.....Parents make frantic searches in portals , among relatives......for the would-be groom...even when the daughter is unaware (for that matter ...she might be least bothered.............or might be dating her colleague!!!!!!!!!)...........................parents dont care!They want a marriage....................!!!!!!!Parents we know that you love us , the kids...you want us to get settled......But hey..............................its 21st century.................Liberation..............................(is what we want.......................)Rememeber the last words of the movie "BRAVEHEART"...............Mel Gibson.........let goes his life.................... for just one thing....................."FREEDOM"Yes, FREEDOM people....freedom.................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Well dream ends here...back to reality...........parents are still searching................now with even more passion and zeal,Girl(daughter) is now freaking out........................for parents have started coaxing her to select a partner for life....................!What would she do....she is through with all this utter non-sensical attitute from her parents.........................Hmm....I give her 4 options----------

1) Run away...........far far away....................(Remember "FOREST GUMP"..............run.........lady run................ Go abroad...........................!!!!!!!!!.......get away from all these tensions!!!!!!!!! )

2) Marry your colleague!!!!!!!!!!!((((((no no....bad idea..........................go to option 1)

3) Marry your parents choice.................(They are good people who want good of you..............................maybe waiting wouldn't work as good things are taken away soon..............................)

4) Wait for the Prince charming,take all the time possible on earth..........(as with depleting female to male ratio....you might just have loads to choose from anytime in life...................!!)


Well as the donkey says in SHREK-2............."ARE WE THERE YET...........?"...............I leave the question open to all , are we there yet, when generation gap would vanish,when parents and kids will understand each other and last but not the least................when parents would let go their worrying about what society has to say when a girl is not married at 24 or beyond...................??????????
