SURPRISE FOR MY SWEETY !!!!!!!!!!

To all the novice lovers,
who don't know how to please their love,
take a minute off your busy life,
and read this little excerpt.

As the weekend approached ,
and the health of my poor fiance deteriorated,
living far away in a different city,
to make him smile was all I contemplated.

My eyes yearned to see my baby,
he was suffering from pain and cold,
all I wanted was to make him get well,
to see him jumping around as before.

So I booked , Oh my God! so costly tickets,
emptying my pocket for good,
told him , I am sending you a huge gift,
so be there at the airport for sure!

He questioned and queried,
he didn't want a gift so huge,
how could I reveal to him,
it was me coming for his refuge!

At last the destined day arrived,
my friends, thanks for keeping the secret,
for the day I landed in Kolkata,
My baby was spellbound and his suffering faded!

FLOWER

so beautiful petals of charm,
intricately woven in a small bunch,
the little blue flower as we call it,
u awed me every now and then.

i remember passing by the garden everyday,
how my eyes wouldn't stop admiring your beauty,
how my hands always reached out to get ur little touch,
yes u were my favourite, the little blue-bell.

The greeks were awed by you,
the scottish made you their symbol,
the lavender carpet that u lay every spring,
you bestow the earth with a beautiful thing.

you bloom in months of April and May,
you bend over like a pendulam and sway,
your anthers being yellowish-white,
ohh what a spellbinding sight!

How british woods are envied by all,
your presence is the key to it,
how i wish i would be lost in blue,
under the mystical azure sky and you!

FOR A FRIEND

A good friend of mine,
wanted me to write,
a few verses for him,
to kill his idle time.

So here I go my friend,
a sweet plump guy, you think you'r mature,
a little boy lives in you,
to love and to endure!

You take up responsibilties,
and prove your worth all the time,
you dont know although,
you'r the only maverick of your kind!

I find you all unique,
intriguing piece from head to toe,
Well "Thee "did a good job,
and I assume that u know!

you awe me every now and then,
for you are too sweet at times,
well grumpy little face of yours,
does pop up once in a while!

Well my friend, I did show a little bias,
in describing you in my verse,
for all the days coming by,
hope you remember these words!!!!

ABSTRUSE LOVE

how you wish he could understand you,
the language of love is so abstruse.
you hide your feelings every now and then,
but the heart is too difficult to fool.

you try and give him hints,
your love bears the brunt of being naive.
ignorance is not always a bliss,
but its so difficult to let it waive.

you blush with his thoughts,
but fear of loss burns inside.
not always revealing the truth works,
for the heart is where pain resides.

you shiver in agony of unacknowledgement,
the numerous efforts go in vain.
no pondering on this situation works,
for the wrong has already been done.

he fails to see what your eyes depict,
you blame it on the world around.
on God, on destiny, on yourself,
none can though cease the wound.

for all your days ahead in future,
you wonder how trapped a life you lead.
left with nothing but his thoughts,
shackled in love , you couldn't succeed!
